Hi guys,

I fixed the problem and here is the sample of my amp:
Ultra Sample.mp3 - wet
Ultra Sample1.mp3 - dry
It was recorded with cheap PC mic.

Hey Mensur,

Is this the pcb project that had some noise problems? I saw that post and I am really not a pcb guy.

Anyways, these links seem to be no good.

Hi, the problem was AC hum from the heather supply, I just DC-ed it(6.3VDC,old Hi-Fi trick), and it works great.

Yup, typical heater hum. Did you take it from the cathode?

No, I put heathers on bridge rectifier, then on 4700uF/25V cap(there is voltage drop acros rectifier, about 2V, then on heather itself's, about 1V, and I got 6.3VDC).

RMS, what did you mean by taking it from the cathode? I would be interested in that.

Its called DC elevation, its used to reduce heater induced hum problems. You would connect the two 100-OHM resistors between the cathode resistor and the tube. Or what I have been doing is just putting a cap between the 100-OHM resistor and ground.

Hi guys,
Recently I worked on the amp, and there is no more sizzle, hum, brum or anything...so I made a new clip:
Memmara Hi Gain Ultra.mp3
It's recorded with crappy PC mic, on crappy speakers.
It's stereo, on the left is modern hi gain tone, on the right it's hi gain marshall mid tone.

Tell me what you guys think?
